Organization > Objectives of FECMES

Why is it necessary to spread the great capacity to create employment and wealth of the businesses of the social economy and to promote its creation and development?

Because besides favoring the democratic culture, social and political equality, and the values of solidarity, pluralism, and social cohesion - made for being important-, the businesses of the social economy can begin to develop very competitive processes, of great use to society and the flexibility to satisfy in greater degree the people involved in them.

Owing to these same characteristics and the environment of introduction, the businesses of the social economy are better qualified than others to complete the two fundamental functions en a region like our own:

  • The integration of craft knowledge in the technical product processes adapted to the new demands or the market.
  • The valuation of the human factor as a determining element of the quality of the products or services.

Because the business of the social economy are decisive components of the economic system then to permit the access of the professional and business activity of many workers who, in another form, would be inevitably pleasant with unemployment benefits and would not be able realize their aspirations of creating and starting a business project. This is especially important in situations or economic crisis, in the case of the people with greater difficulties to become part of the labor world, or in the distant territories of the great industrial centers and the scope of interest of multinational business.

In order to circulate the great possibilities of the social economy as an organizational instrument and creator of employment, Fecmes has widened its territorial structure and organized to include the five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha, well across the provincial delegations, or across the so-called Points of Business Information (PIE), located in towns and regions to bring closer Fecmes' services to its principal destinations: the businesses.
